Women around the world are challenging cultural, social, political, religious and economical barriers and are actively contributing to a better future for themselves, their families and society in general. As we recently started a collaboration with FOKUS (Forum for women and development) we are determined to make a change not just in Norway, but on an international level.

- In service of the women in this world. Fokus is a resource centre on international women’s issues and a co-ordinating organ for women’s organisations in Norway. Together we have a common goal regarding individual freedom for women and fighting the still remaining injustice between genders in the world.

Our aim is for both sexes to obtain the full expression and equal possibilities both in their private and their public life. The 10th of august 2009 Flinga & Fokus will arrange an auction with a limited edition of women’s wear. All the profits from the sale is donated to war victims in Bosnia and the the designs are going to be tailored by this women, who use sewing as a post-traumatic therapy.
